Cross the crystal clear waters of Lake Manapouri to view the largest hydro power station in New Zealand. Excavated from rocks 200m below Lake Manapouri, The Manapouri Power Station harnesses the raw energy of Fiordland's rushing water. Wilmot Pass traverses Fiordland National Park connecting the power station with Doubtful Sound and forming the next leg of this adventure. Known as "The Sound of Silence", Doubtful Sound is shrouded in mist and mystery.
