Day 3 | Greymouth - Arthur's Pass - Harihari

The majestic Lake Brunner is a sight to behold and a trout fisherman's dream. Enjoy the spectacular lake views as we travel to Arthur's Pass to observe the Otira Gorge Road Viaduct - a triumph of engineering. Founded on gold prospecting, Hokitika has a rich history and is our lunchtime destination. Our gold fever theme continues in the historic town of Ross. Ross is known as New Zealand's richest town with an estimated 1 million ounces of gold underground. Sit back and admire Lake Ianthe as we make our way to the small township of HariHari - halfway between Hokitika and the glaciers.
