Take some time to stretch your legs in the world's brown trout capital, Gore. Travel in presidential style between Gore and Clinton along a stretch of road dubbed "The Presidential Highway" after US president and vice president, Bill Clinton and Al Gore. Situated on the bank of the mighty Clutha River, Balclutha is today's morning tea destination. Drive through the rural town of Milton and past the peaceful waters of Lake Waihola, renowned for its international standard rowing course.
